I had Local Hero played at my Dad's funeral and 12 years on if I hear it played anywhere I go all quiet and emotional.

The live versions of that, Solid Rock, and Telegraph Road remind me of being a teen and waking up on Sunday mornings to them being blasted out almost concert like downstairs.

Born Slippy by Underworld as it was on the Trainspotting soundtrack just at the same time we all started going clubbing in Bonny Edinburgh....

Many an inebriated memory of spilling many a pint bouncing away shouting.."LAGER,LAGER,LAGER,LAGER,LAGER....MEGA MEGA WHITE THING!.....etc,etc lol

This is very generational and regional but if I hear Blockbuster by Sweet I have to sing the Macc Ladds cover 'Fat Bastard' from my bootleg cassette I got at junior school.

Either East End by the Cockney Rejects or Galtee Mountain Boy by Christy Moore.

I consider both London and Tipperary to be my home.
