Today was his birthday
I'm bent over with such painful grief I can't begin to tell you
I miss him so much every day
I was his only daughter and he was always with me
So cherish your nearest and dearest and keep them close because you never know just when they'll be taken from you.
Don't take them for granted even for a second
Please think of him today for me

I know how you feel. I lost my dad 17 years ago. I was always daddies little girl. Even up to the last few moment of his life. I was the last one he said I love you to. Not a day goes by when I don't talk about him |

Same as me. He told me he loved me and to go fetch my mum into the room. As soon as I stepped out the room he died. I kind of feel he didn't want me to see him die. |

I know how you feel I lost both my parents when I was a kid. HE is watching over you hun. And he will be proud of you for what you are. Take care and a big hug from me xxx |

Today he'd have been very exited in the build up to the rugby match out in Italy so most tears today will be remembering him laughing and cheering Wales on

I have to say, although I would obviously be devastated when either of my parents pass away I am dreading the day my dad goes.
I imagine it sometimes (I don't know why, my brain is weird) and end up making myself cry even though it hasn't happened. |

Thoughts and payers for you all i can not imagine the pain you going threw as both my parents are still alive but with out any parent or loved ones in yyour life it will be devastating. X |

I found out that I am adopted in my late twenties and was brought up in a relatively loveless family so I envy people with loving parents, never take your nearest and dearest for granted. .love and cherish them all x

I (D) lost my Dad 12 years ago ( just had the anniversary). I didnt get to the hospital in time to say goodbye, just grateful I had seen him 2 days before . It was sudden and unexpected, I still miss him |

I lost my dad in 2013 not a day goes by where I don't think about him but my mum misses him the most obviously
he was a wonderful man and I was lucky to have him as long as I did so I feel your pain hugs |

Big hugs to all those that have lost a parent or parents. To those who still have them around cherish every moment. You always think that mum and dad will be around forever and always be there for you. I miss my dad so much. He would be so so proud of me and my daughter. But I honoured his last dying wish. He asked me to always look after mum. Five years ago she had a massive stroke which has left her paralysed down one side of her body and needing 24hr care. I gave up my job, relationship and life to honour his wish |
