puting my pic up on profile for all to see I am not adverse to people whom i would want to trust seeing my pic(s)but need to be discrete and i am not trying to hide away but would only want those who are genuine to see does this put me at a disadvantage if so how can i make it better to be considered with out being compromised |

Na very few have face pics in the avatar mate
They are usually kept in private folder and sent with an email

so you are saying that its ok to say i have pic to send to those who i am happy to send to and get email add from them to do so and that would be the way to do it |

You have three optiuons with regards to your photos on here.
1) Any member can see them
2) Only friends can see them
3) Private but you can stil lsend them via pm.
You can set any of the options for any of your photos. You don't have to have option 1 for all of them, nor option 2 or 3. You can mix and match as suited.
So all you have to do now is have a tasteful shot that doesn't show your face or any distinguishing marks on your 'any member' setting (which you can set as your avatar also), and keep your more revealing photos for friends, and a face pic as a private photo you attach to messages. |
