One of life's most annoying things is when people try to lecture you on something when they have no frikkin idea what they are talking about.
I don't get on well with white bread/spuds and pasta so tend to avoid them. I do eat sweet potato and get plenty of carbs from other sources.
Getting a lecture (while I'm sat eating a bowl of weetabix (carbs) with milk (carbs) and a banana (oh look more carbs) about how not eating carbs isn't good for you and this particular person didn't eat any carbs at all for 20 years and it ended up making them poorly as they just lived on fruit and veg (so that's carbs then!!!)
I wouldn't mind but ive just lost 3.5 stone over 6 months so not exactly quickly by just eating Healthily (getting advice from my friend who is a fully qualified nutritionist and PT) and doing plenty of exercise..
People really have no idea what they are putting into their mouths half the time, I know I didn't. But I do now! And I wouldn't dream of lecturing someone else if I didn't know what I was talking about..
RANT OVER.. Ooh and it's Thursday |

I know a guy who's body is a temple, lectures everyone he can corner on healthy eating and dirty and vitamin supplements
Then stands there stuffing his face with a large bag of Doritos |
