I've shagged many a lorry driver over the last 12 or 13 years

But as it's been said, most lorry drivers my age are fat and balding (I know I'm fat but I do need to fancy my fuck friends) and seem unable to string a sensible sentence together

So it's put me off so many of them

Can understand that. We won't meet 'travelling guys' no matter what field they're in, mainly for the fear they'd be married.

I drive trucks too, amongst other things, wouldn't dream of having a meet in the cab though. Fuck that. Not enough room for me never mind trying to get your freak on and impress da ladies. What if they found...'the bottle'?!

A band bus though...well different story!

(Would be a great place for a party actually. Looked at it briefly but would be too costly per head.)

Whenever lorry drivers send me a message it always includes the line 'I'm staying down the road from me, fancy a fuck in my cab?'

Lorry drivers just automatically get deleted now. Or I'm very sceptical of them.

Operators of large articulated equipment can seem intimidating and disturbing, especially when tail-gating one's rear-end.

Speed up then, means you're driving too slow for the road you're on. It's equally as frustrating on a motorway for HGVs when someone is pootering along a motorway at about 55. Not fast enough for us to pass safely (due to truck speed limiter) but slow enough to make us have to slow down when there's no real requirement to.

I'm ok driving at a speed that I'm comfortable with and that I feel is safe.

All the lorry drivers that I used to work with (I was in logistics and warehousing) felt that way too.

I agree with you. 40-55 is not safe for a car on a motorway in normal circumstances though and it happens a lot. It causes frustration, which in turn causes accidents. That why the speed limit has been lifted down south and on the A9.

I have a great deal of respect for these guys.

It cant be easy driving daily on over crowded roads with tight schedules to stick to.

They also have to spend nights in some pretty inhospitable lay bys.

Maybe they deserve the odd comfort break.

And what about that car driver yesterday who overtook me on the M6 and cut in front of me then stood on his brakes for no reason?? Nothing in front of him. My video cameras got it all and files been forwarded to the police. They said he should get done for dangerous driving. So yes lorry drivers get a bad name due to some who are idiots. But alot of car drivers are terrible too and do dangerous things. I run my own trucks and if any of my drivers were found to be doing dangerous acts they'd be looking for a new job
