hubbys birthday tomorrow so i have arranged a night out with friends and a great restaurant and then on the saturday we are off to a lap dancing competition! good eh!
our wedding anny next week - monday - guess what - he is out the country
never mind love he says - he is back sunday i can take him to golf as a treat!
the following week its my birthday - and where is my true heart? oh yes he is in denmark again

Drop a subtle hint along the lines of:

I didn't have a single anniversary with my husband the whole 10 years when we were married.
I booked a weekend away for the 2 of us on our tenth anniversary as a surprise and he found out and cancelled it! Something about going on a confernce weekend.
