Well thanks to this thread I just had to clean out the 2 cupboards from hell & blitz the kitchen.

I've Domestosed the fuck out of my toilets and got a satisfying large clump of hair out of the shower plug hole, so I feel like I've achieved something today. |

"What's that bleach that you dilute and comes in a small bottle...zoflora..that smells alright, but no idea if it works as well as swimming baths cleaning smells though. "
I love zoflora, there's a citrus one, the smell of it lasts ages after you've cleaned |

Stick a load of veet in your plughole overnight....that soon shifts those hair mats that gather in there.... |

When I actually bother to clean, I don't stop until it's perfect. I'd say it's OCD, but my room is always a mess. It's like I just don't know where to start. And I'd much rather move all the furniture out of the room and Hoover into all the corners and dust everything, but I can't do that so I know it's not going to be perfect so why bother
Although washing up... Fuck me. If there's even a spec of dirt or a tea stain or something, I scrub it to within an inch of its life!
I mopped the kitchen floor the other day.. I asked my mum to move the mat so I don't kill myself bending down to move it. She said 'just do the bits you can see..' I almost had a heart attack. Can't just do those bits... Gotta do under the mat too. If I had my way she would have moved the fridge too! |

The house is a mess as there is work going on, including getting rid of things. But, I had the lovely surprise of coming back from my holiday to find that the kitchen, floors and and cooker had all been cleaned to a sparkle.
Cleaning fairies are the way to go.
