ive just bought a fridge freezer by a company that makes cars.. felt a bit odd.

are companys getting good in expanding product ranges or do you think they should stick with what they are known for??

A good tip with the fridge is to drill a 2 inch hole through the middle of the door, then you are always sure the light has gone off when the door is closed.

It's not always obvious what some of these companies do. For example who knows that Hyundai (known for their cheap cars) are possibly the world's biggest ship builders?

Hitachi are best known for consumer electronics but also manufacture diggers and oil rigs (and of course a great sex toy masquerading as a massager)

Kawasaki started off making aircraft for the kamikaze pilots. I used to always wonder if I really needed a helmet when I got on mine, or whether one of those funky bandanas would have sufficed

Daewoo aren't traditionally car manufactures. Look at Bosch. They do car parts, fridges, ovens, washing machines, electrical supplies

A lot of companies do the same

This thread has reminded me that I kind of want a hello kitty ball gag (they do make such a thing). The wrongness of it appeals to me.

Technically you can't buy Daewoo cars anymore as they have been rebranded as Chevrolet (at least here in the UK)

Personally speaking though, I really didn't like this as I feel that it tarnishes the Chevrolet brand

I was playing with a lady friend who asked me to use her wand on her and I was amazed to see that it was made by a popular electrical goods company (but can't remember which one now).

I wanted one of those big refrigerators, you know the American style things with the double doors?

I was put off it when the salesman described it as a Lada
