Not wishing to be too pedantic but M on M is legal in private. There was a court case following a raid on a private party in Yorkshire sometime ago.
AFAIK a married man may now do his Mrs in the ass, with consent of course, in private. It wasn't legal until a few years back.
Anal in public is still likley to be illegal. And ill advised.

Sodomy was illegal and punishable by hanging....
Due to gay rights movements it was made legal for consenting males....1980 in scotlands sodomy law...
Soooo technically speaking, it is still illegal to do it to women lol

Sodomy laws can be found around the world. Today, consensual homosexual acts between adults are illegal in about 70 out of the 195 countries of the world; in 40 of these, only male-male sex is outlawed.

In UK law, sodomy is illegal between males unless it takes place in private between two consenting adults who are 16 or over. When the law required males to be 18 or over there was a 'no other persons present' clause but since the age of consent was reduced to 16 in 1997 this clause has become irrelevant as males under 16 are covered by existing child abuse laws.
The Sexual Offences (Amendment) Act 2000 further equalised the age of consent to 16 to include male and female participants engaged in anal sex and came into effect on 8th January 2001.

Pegging (a woman using a strap-on with a man) is covered by the Sexual Offences (Amendment) Act 2000 under the conditions set out above, as is male-to-female anal sex.
It's worth remembering that civil partnerships between members of the same sex are recognised under UK Law so it would be a tad hypocritical to criminalise anal sex between two people of the same gender within a legally recognised relationship. |

The laws still an ass in both respects lol technically it's illegal ta give a woman anal still but that is only used in rape cases
It is still however illegal for two males to have anal sex with anyone else present in the room although I very much doubt there has ever been a case where it's gone ta court lol xx  |

I'm fairly sure its legal now. Its covered in all the sex-ed shows on ch 4 etc, and never been a mention of it being illegal. Its on the increase now with teens as its _iewed as an option to the pill or condoms. Daft i know, but true. Not a taboo act anymore.  |

i was told anal sexis the most dangerous form of sex for contracting STI's
and i also think i remember some tv programme sying that you can still get pregnant from unprotected anal sex as the 'ejaculate' can run round to the vagina |
