most of you wont know who he was or give a shit, but maybe a few on here did enjoy Gongs music at some point in their life and im sure they will be be a bit sad to see another wonderful musician leave us..so few left now ..

Last saw them (gong) play in Stoke about 10 years ago!

Hope he is sitting up there having a nice cup of tea on the oily way!

i saw him play a few years ago in bournemouth .it was a sad night as i was about the only paying punter there(promoters fault) .i felt so sorry for him and his band ..and i had to ask 2 girls to be quite cos he was trying to tell a story and all i could here was them

I was fortunate enough to have met Daevid a couple of times and have many good memories of seeing Gong perform, he will be missed by many R.I.P.

Had many a good night listening to gong in my youth and still put it on the turn table every now and again . Very sad his gone but will never be forgotten . We have lost some great guys in the last few years , ie Huw Lloyd Langton and Rob Calvert all acid rock guys . Still go and see hawkwind when there playing near by as we don't know how long there going to be around . Was also at a Nick Turner gig only last night .

Oh. I read on the BBC that the keyboard player from the band that sang that had died. Thought unwashed gonna look all cool then from knowing a non radio one artist

(actually I don't know many radio one artists anymore....I've matured onto radio two )
