Well I went to a lot of effort tonight ( ) to do my comic relief avatar, thinking there was a challenge thread.
Not sure where it's gone but I know I have seen one!
Anyway. Thought I'd start another. Anyone in?
Here's mine. Xx |

A controversial BBC Panorama investigation into charities including Comic Relief is set to be broadcast in early December following interventions by the corporation's director general and director of news.
The programme, which was at the centre of a row that drew in BBC director general Tony Hall in October after it was postponed, is expected to air on Tuesday 10 December.
Hall's personal pre-transmission intervention in the BBC1 current affairs documentary was prompted by claims that a string of executives had ruled themselves out of taking decisions about the programme, as a result of the BBC's longstanding ties with Comic Relief.

Well done everyone, fantastic efforts.
Embarrassingly I thought it was next Friday. It was only when I opined, around lunchtime, that Comic Relief seems to go on for weeks now - I remember when it was just one day, that Mrs ddc realised that I'm nearer to being driven to the old folks home than she thought.

it was closed and some of it was about our pic - but as often happens it all got twisted
i put it up and it was rejected for not being me - well its my hand and others have less than that showing - somebody suggested i try again so i did and it stayed for a while then it was rejected for having a watermark on it already ie was from another site - i know mods are busy but the watermark only showed fab and our name and if a couple of seconds more had been spent would have seen it belonged to us - so uploaded the original again and it stayed - it wasnt this alone that ended the thread but as forums go other things and one bit picked out of the whole story and some folk got a bit spouty - anyway its been on show all week and will be removed tomorrow |

Glad it finally got accepted I think when I read the thread, posts had been removed as I couldn't understand why it was closed! |

I do keep trying to explain the pic rules but I seem to not be able to get it across. I will try again.
If there is a watermark on a pic , no matter whether it is the profile holders name or not, it will be rejected because it looks like it has been saved from the profile and re uploaded so why mods will reject it as instructed by Admin and not because they might not have looked properly.
As you say you then uploaded the original then thats why it was probably approved. |
