I've only gone and done it - I've now lost 18 stone, have a weight that starts with a 10, and am within half a stone of target weight now... its taken me 5 years.
So chuffed
p.s. as you were... just wanted to tell someone. |

"omg well done ... please tell us how you did it"
No magic. Bloody hard work, eat less.
I'd tried every diet and club going - carb free, fat free, atkins, cambridge etc etc... worked while on the diet, then all back on and more... and the only thing that works - and has stayed working is drinking more water (a half pint to a pint about 30 minutes before a meal, resets the hunger/thirst confusion before eating) and found classes I loved doing - I'm a bit of a lesmills junkie, and adore spin too. I'm training next month to teach and have not long passed my level 2 gym instructor course.
I still eat butter and cream and things I like, just in moderation. I also very rarely drink alcohol - as in one beer at christmas and beyond that a few glasses of bubbly in the summer last year when my best friend moved house. Its empty calories and leads to bad choices. I also switched to a smaller dinner plate and am careful on portion sizes. I'm not afraid to leave on my plate now if I have had enough. Also stop to chew your food properly, laying cutlery down between mouthfuls and learn when your body tells you its had enough. |

"18 stone?? How come you haven't got that saggy skin people get!? Amazing "
I've been really lucky - some genetics - my dad doesn't have wrinkles yet and is mid 60s. I also drink loads of water, have lost weight through a mix of cardio and weights which helps skin tone, and am a big believer in body brushing, and moisturising daily. I've a bit of a sag on my tummy (hence the behind or covered pics) but have gone from a size 26, and a 46/48GG to a 10/12 and a 32DD. Its also come off fairly steadily, so not rapid weight loss. |

Brilliant!
I feel inspired to tackle my own lack of fitness and health issues.
...
Tomorrow.
Seriously though, that's amazing. Well done! |

Bloody amazing! Fantastic! And after such a journey (5 years) it's likely to stay off!
Genuinely in awe - I'm sure there was a lot of blood, sweat and tears along the way but you look awesome! |
