Why is it so hard for people just to say to a person that's just messaged you either hi ok yes no or not interested it only takes a small moment to do

"Why is it so hard for people just to say to a person that's just messaged you either hi ok yes no or not interested it only takes a small moment to do "

And why do you think you are entitled to a response?

A moment is a long time when you're getting between 30 and 50 messages per day.

People on this site don't owe you anything - get over it.

Do you phone every take away leaflet that falls through your door and say "No thank you"?

"Wonder how many are REALLY getting that many msgs?"

I'd suggest a large quantity when you consider messages from friends etc.

"Why is it so hard for people just to say to a person that's just messaged you either hi ok yes no or not interested it only takes a small moment to do "

i woke up this morning to over 100 messages, some of the messages contained hi" or "fancy a fuck" or didn't meet my criteria

if they cant read my profile why should i take time replying to these people!

nothing in the terms and conditions says "i have to reply"

Some people think that any response, even if it is an emphatic No Thanks, is the green light to bombard with messages.

We try to reply to all but it can piss you off when they don't accept rejection. So it is easier to just ignore all messages from people you are not interested in.

I currently have 1200 messages in my inbox. I have no where near enough spare time to message everyone saying no thanks.

OP might I suggest for your own peace of mind that you take no response as a no response.

Have you read the site rules and faq's?

Clearly states no reply is to be taken as a polite no thankyou......

Do your homework first....

It's not hard but it's my moment, not theirs.

They decided whether to message me, don't I get the same right? If not, why not? What makes them so special that simply by deciding to message and writing some words, they can dictate how I use even a moment of my time?

Let's face it, if someone didn't want to message me, they wouldn't, and you'd consider that reasonable. So I should clearly have the same option not to message them if I don't want to.

There are other reasons but I can't be bothered.

I only really chat with 2 people on here and easily hit 30 per day. I'd dread to think how difficult it'd be for the popular people on here.

Once i put a meet up and got 500+ messages it took me 3hours just to delete those without the requested pic and those too far away and read the others. By the time I'd finished I was so agitated (mainly by the lack of people reading what I actually wanted) that I just deleted all and didn't meet or respond anyone. 3 hours just to read, so how long would it have been if I'd responded too? Taking into account probably 10% would've replied to my reply asking why so that'd just compound the problem!!

I get approx. 20-30 a day and read my profile, its clear I'm not meeting! I don't respond as if they can't be arsed to read my profile or choose to ignore then I can't be arsed responding!

I had a guy message me the other day, I replied quite nicely with a no thank you your not what I'm looking for and ended up being told that he didn't understand why us women on here have a preference etc, he then questioned why id had a social meet when my profile says just here for chat.

So rather than be nice and reply to everyone id rather not reply at all now

"Wonder how many are REALLY getting that many msgs?"

I know someone who gets between 150-200 messages per day with filters, if she uploads a new picture that will double.

She logged in once to show me and she was online for less than 2 minutes and she got 17 messages.

Apparently that was quiet to normally when she logs on.

Particularly when you can only see the first, what, 30 messages?

Dealing with even a smallish volume of messages can be a pain if it keeps coming in as you're trying to work through it. Running to stand still.

Well you can only ever get exactly 2 6's if you only roll 2 dice

To be fair it's only guys who seem to bombard you with messages, me and my partner had a joint account but got so many messages daily we changed it to jus male and now look for people on here that fit our criteria instead of having 1000s of msgs to reply to!

Yep. I don't get too many now so it proves a lot do read profiles, but when Iused to log in iI'd get messages quicker than I could read them immediately. With any exaggeration, every time I pressed refresh the minimum would be 5 messages and that would be consistent until I logged off.

Unless you get exactly 2 6's from two of the rolls and something other than a 6 from the third

Nah, that's at least 2 6's, exactly is nothing more and nothing less than 2 6's

Nope because at least 2 6's could be 3 6's and the requirement was 2 6's and only 2 6's from 3 rolls, meaning the third roll could be anything but a 6.
