As a gesture of goodwill
In July last year I asked to be removed from their list of numbers they continued to ring....
I complained and as I'd opted out of marketing calls from (British gas) and they continued to make them... £30.00 credit, I'd have been happy with an assurance there was no more calls.
It sometimes pays to complain... |

£30? Whilst it's good to at least get something £30 is not enough.
Next time quote data protection act back at them as they have misused your data. If they still mess you about ask for a 'Subject Access Request' and an address to send said request.
You pay £10 and they HAVE to respond within 40 days with ALL details they hold on file about you; including your opt out request.
If they've broken the terms of the Data protection act (misuse of data) they can be fined or they could just pay you a tidy sum for you to go away.
Ora**e paid me £200, YES you read that right, to go away! |
