friend told me about a film called Splice - came out in 2009 - it was quite good but gawd knows i never heard of it even when trawling through film lists |

There was a time when it didn't matter if you missed a film at the cinema, since it would be on the telly within a year or two. Now with all the pay-to-view channels, the popular films stay pay-per-view for years before coming to free tv. Inception, 5 years and counting.
And now with Orange Wednesdays gone, we'll be missing even more.

Broaden the search and start watching world cinema, it's incredible and a lot more thought provoking than hollywood, that's if you like subtitles. Indie films are good too but hit and miss. Google is your friend. |
