Have you ever thought the world of someone who everyone else hates?

Growing up I had an uncle, everyone in the family hated him, he was opinionated, a womaniser and a tea leaf.

But to me he was just a uncle who was always nice to me,always bunged me a couple of quid and gave me my first payed job helping with his window cleaning business.

Always have fond memories of him.

Anyone else got someone they like when everyone else says that you shouldn't?

"Trying.....to.....fight.....the urge.....to say.....Hitler"

He was totally misunderstood *nods*

There's a woman at work who seems to get everyone's back up, except me. Yeah, she's got her foibles, but she's not the total monster others think she is.

Peter hitchins. Even if he does write for the express, I admire his steadfast beliefs and genuine concern.

My ex. Even on our wedding day my mum, dad and best friend all told me I didn't have to marry him in their defence I was shitting myself at the time, and part way through the ceremony I started throwing up behind a palm tree... Put it down to heat exhaustion at the time lol

Couple of people from work places.

One woman, who often didn't take part in conversations and everyone thought she was ignorant. I used to chat to her and realised she was just very hard of hearing.

Another woman who the boss used to bully, i still see her from time to time and speak to her. Don't know why people didn't like her, i think they was just following the bosses lead?

My boss in my job I had when I had my 2nd mc. Everyone else said she was too strict. I found her perfectly fair. I'm blatantly honest and on the 2 occasions I messed up I told her straight away and apologised. Others would try n cover n make a bigger mess!! She never got cross with me just helped me fix the mistakes and advised me. Also mc occurred just a few weeks after I started there (didn't know I was pg), and she was amazingly supportive, even to point of telling me to go home for another week when I first went back as I wasn't ready (I didn't but in hindsight I think she was probably right). V male environment n she always put the mcp's in their place too.

Generally though its the opposite for me, others think someone is wonderful and I can't stand them! So far always been proved right even years later, inc celebs - eg never liked John Leslie or Rolf Harris gave me creeps

Quite a few people.

Not only am I a dreadful judge of character, I absolutely insist on making up my own mind about people and not listening to what anyone else says!

I do that too.

I know someone who everyone thinks has the sun shining out of her arse when I know she's a two-faced bitch who can't be trusted to any extent.

She'll show her true colours in time.
