I moved into a Studio Apartment last week...I eat where I sit where I sleep where I shower...
But £400pcm including bills.
The answer is storage and a drop leaf table you fix to the wall. Oh and a microwave wall bracket and a sofa bed.
It's not all bad, I have a partition wall that separates the sleeping/ living and kitchen areas.

"There was a tv programme about people living in really small houses on recently. That was interesting.
Paint the ceiling lighter than the walls and it will make the room look bigger. "
I have also hung lots of mirrors cos I am kinky like that...nah I ain't...they add to the illusion of space |

Oh dear isn't a guy able to make a decision on how to make a home look decent, no wonder women think we are pathetic and can't think for themselves, a home is homely because you make it yours |

A storage chest that doubles up as a coffee table. With a big decorative bowl on it for keys, loose change, plectrums, buttons, Allan keys, costume jewellery and spare pens. You need somewhere to put that stuff when you flump on the sofa.
Oh, and throws and cushions in a variety of different textures. |

I lived in a small place for a bit last year. It's important to keep it uncluttered because there's just not room for mess (even if it's means keeping that pile of clean laundry in a cupboard out of sight..), but you also don't want it to look bare.
Side table with a nice lamp, soft furnishings to coordinate with your curtains, framed things on the walls rather than posters (order hey, framed posters).

Sorry, but when I walk into a bachelor pad I want the essence of a man not cushions!
Minimal,no fuss,no flowers just MAN!! A few tasteful pics, nothing stupid like cats or ballerinas. I like it to smell of him,not my mum's garden. Fresh, crisp linen on the bed, soft towels in the bathroom and no scum around the bath |

I'd honestly love to do this for a job. Spend other peoples money accessorising their homes.
Without seeing your flat and without knowing your perosnal interests and how you'd use your home, and without having an idea of how you want to represent yourself i have no idea what you should buy. |

You can accessorise in all sorts of ways.
If you want a pretty clean flat and want to keep it minimal, but want some colour then use furniture or curtains to do that.
Do you want everything to match, that's a bit boring but also a clean look and can look professional if pulled off right. Do you want it to look homely and inviting? What kind of look are you going for exactly?
How do you want the rooms to feel? Cool, warm, sexy?
Will you need additional lighting anywhere because you like to read or just love bright rooms?
Probably gonna be back in here first thing.

King size mattress on floor (fold it against wall, cover with throw and its a sofa...), couple of beanbags and large cushions double as pillows and chairs...
I call this look is called squatter sheik!
It is so far ahead of the latest design fashion it is...
Totally next month!
