i've been neglecting mine lately. i dont bite them but they are brittle and do break so are fragile.
work wont allow polish. They arent horrific, dirty or chewed up but are no longer a uniform shape or length |

never understood nail brushes, i just think they are disgusting in their own right. just regular washing, showing, bathing always keeps my nails clean |

Mine are always immaculate looking and i'm fastidious about hand washing!
Long nails on men are just vile. But I do know it's difficult in some trades to get them really clean. Motor oil for example is a mofo to get off. It stains so they always look dirty. |

I noticed my new boss has long nails the other day. His name is Dean but we know him as James. Then I mentioned it to someone and they suggested maybe at night he becomes Deanna  I might ask him tomorrow. |

I can't stand nail varnish on my fingernails,toes I'm fine,but fingers feel suffocated. Some men work in industries where their nails become ingrained with dirt or paint etc. It's really difficult to get off,doesn't mean they don't bathe. I have been told quite a lot that I have nice nails,without nail varnish. |

Same here, my nails are a mess & i have horrible looking hands as they are big & nasty looking as I spend so much time washing them / burning them/ exposing them to chemicals etc in work |

I work outdoors, I do a physical and sometimes dirty job, today for example I dug out some muddy path sections and shifted two tonne of clean stone by shovel into them
Most of my nails get broken or ripped off and as much as I scrub at times the dirt gets ground in
It costs me a fortune in hand cream lol |

Mine are hot pink gelish stilletto shape with silver holographic glitter on the ring finger nails. I always have my nails done. Wouldn't feel right without them. |

Definitely. My husband is a mechanic, he really struggles to keep his hands & nails clean. Doesn't make him dirty or unhygienic though. Just one if the down falls of his job. |

You might be surprised if you looked under some long,polished nails. A case of out of sight. I don't wear varnish,I can see just how much dirt gets under my nails and clean them. I've seen women put make up over make up,and spray their armpits instead of bathing. What you see can be deceiving |
