396 peodophiles have gone "missing".

Are there more sex crimes committed these days? More rape, more abductions.

Almost daily we are hearing about sex crimes but is it worse than it used to be?

The amount of historic crimes say to me it was probably more rife years ago and we all knew about the " dodgy" teacher or neighbour.

But with the fact that everything is reported on the television and papers these days does it just appear there is more of it.

I'm talking about crimes that are commited without the help of the internet, which have obviously come about in later years.

Just seen on the news how many have gone missing one has been missing for 14 years . Forget to pay council tax or something and they can soon fund you. Cant see how they can lose people?

No I don't think it's any better or worse than it used to be. Just more widely discussed and reported.

The land of grey peas and bacon

Back in the day sexual abuse crimes were not reported or were brushed under the carpet. You only have to look at operation Yewtree as to what was really happening a decade or so ago.

abuse of women and children was swept under the carpet so it seemed as if there were fewer of those sort of crimes. Its still swept under the carpet but less so, therefore it appears that there's more of it. In my opinion.

"396 peodophiles have gone "missing"."

All the so called "missing" are not necessarily paedophiles. Just people who have been placed on the "sex register", could have guilty of rape or another sex crime, nothing to do with children.
