Well now my daughters car is giving me grief, loosing water from somewhere around the back of the engine, on her little KA, please let it be something simple like a split pipe.

i sympathise - my car was toed to the garage yesterday - new starter motor and clutch required fingers crossed its a little something

they are always costing us money, think I have got it fixed just a leaking gasket around the thermostat housing, a new one is £65 but I have just took it off and put gasket silicone around it and it appears to have done the trick

Are you certain is losing water? I used to work in a garage and we had a couple of people bring their cars to us who thought the same thing, only for it to be the water outlet tray just under the bonnet and windscreen
