Do most of your meets come from those you have met through the forums or do you choose to meet away from the forums?
I have had some meets with forum users but tend now to have sexual meets with those that don't use the forums as I like to keep things separate.  |

Have to laugh at the irony of this, as I've seen people be advised to chat on the forums to get yourself known and help you to meet
I've met a few people from using the forums I wouldn't have otherwise. If I like someone I don't care how I met them or who knows |

To some the forums are useful tool to get a first meet or to meet others in a social setting. To some they don't need to use the forums for this scenario it was just an observation but then ive never been any good at irony. |

I don't your weird it is a word that's has come to mind at times when checking out profiles of other posters, doesn't always mean local either.
The other is six degree's of separation. I've found the forum a useful source of information.
Someone messaging me the other I thought okay then saw some posts on a thread, thankfully and blocked. |

All my meets bar one have been away from the forums (and he's now UNLOS). It's not a conscious choice, more an issue of distance since there are people on the forums I'd like to meet. I think if I did in future I'd rather keep it private though; meets and forum banter seem separate things to me. |

Good point well made, especially about separating meets and forum banter. I think we all have stories that confirm the forums are a smaller place than we realise (or hope for) so there's that to consider.
As for me, I have met a fair few people from and through the forums, but not by design. That's to say I didn't start using the forums to source potential meets. I came on to mess around and my mind opened up to the possibility. I guess, it just being me and having no-one else to answer (and having no common sense, lol) the distance isn't an issue, so perhaps that has informed my openness to meeting people from the forums.
That's in addition to meets off-forum.
I wouldn't rule anything out. |

It's very rare I meet anyone from the forum. For me it's just a time filler more than anything. Having said that there are the odd (sometimes very odd ) posters that have grabbed my attention enough for me to want to meet. ..and have done  |

I think few forum users would want to meet me. I often don't come across in the most approachable way. Some find me intimidating and some simply don't like who they perceive me to be.
Most of the interest in me comes from non-forum users. |

I've met some in a social setting and two forum users I'm very much friends with and never had any form of sexual contact with and never would. So for me the forums has been great for meeting in a social setting. However in some occasions it has caused so much drama that it has left a bitter taste in my mouth to meet anyone off the forums for sex. |

I only meet people from the forums for socials. I keep the sex stuff separate.

In a debate i tend to hold very strong conservative views, but politically I'm right of socialism (if that all makes sense)
But for airing my views in the forum ive been lambasted by many a people, to the point of been blocked.
So would i? Yes i would meet of the forum but haven't yet.
Would someone want to meet me off the forum, maybe not.
This is my opinion!
Many of us use the forum as a room to chat and portray ourselves as how wonderful we are (so please pick me). That's great power to you.
Others use it as a place one can express one views without thinking 'am i not going to get a shag if i say the wrong thing  |

I don't keep the different parts separate, it's just that many of the forum contributors don't live nearby so probably wouldn't be meeting them anyway in the normal course of arranging meets.

My sexual meets from the site have been from the chatrooms. And that's only been a few.
I meet outside of fab than from the site to be honest.

I've met many forumites via the big organised socials...some of them I've met for fun at a later date, but I doubt we would have come on to each other's radar were it not for the fora as they live all over the country...I've also made friends I meet up with socially and managed to lumber myself with the Wyrd One
However, the majority of my 1-1 meets are folk who barely even know the fora exists, but I'm damn glad I started posting way back when and became a regular |

The great thing about people posting in forums is that you can easily get a measure of them. Some will eventually show who they really are..in a good or bad way.
I have met many forumites at socials, sometimes played but often it only remained platonic. Some are very good.friends, others keep on being dicks.
Where I live..well...enough said.....I have to look.further afield outside of forums. |
