Just on the news...
Putin admits to giving the order to annex the Crimea, which is an admission that he invaded another country against International Law.
In openly admitting it, he's either not concerned about what the rest of the world thinks, or he thinks he was right to do what he did, either way its a dangerous point. |

The west had been arming the Ukraine for ages. The Ukrainian government have been using those arms on their own citizens who happen to have Russian heritage, Putin then arms those and you have a proxy war.
It isn't the first one think Afghanistan, Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Cuba, Spain, Greece...
I doubt it will be the last one either, there's still a bit of resource plundering left here and there |

It's not as though the West/NATO ever resorted to bombing Serbia and it's civilians to take the province off of Serbia to hand it to the armed ethnic Albanians, is it? |

Whose to say the people in the Crimea region would prefer to be part of Russia anyway, there was a vote/poll taken by people living there and the result went in Russias favour, but of course the West/EU/USA disagree with the result (as you would expect). |
