"Uncertainty isn't good you don't know what might happen.
so would you be happier with knowing everything the future holds?
Its better that way, surprises are usually bad "

Depends.
i.e. if im going to meet a friend, I would like to be certain of where i am meeting and when.
However if someone is arranging a surprise, I would like to be certain to like it even though "it" is still uncertain! |

so, if I know what you mean and you know what I mean - does that mean we mean the same thing ... if it means that... does that mean we are meant for each other |

It's increasingly uncertain how I feel about the subject of certainty...
The only thing I am certain of is that all things are uncertain; please explain this paradox? |

"

Where's your proof of certainty of that which is, and not of that which will come to pass?
If all that you percieve and all that you have percieved is an apriory concept; then how would you differentiate that which is yet to pass?
Perhaps the future is more definate than the past? Take a car accident for instance; all the witnesses saw the same event, but none of the accounts will be exactly the same!
The only conclusion is that reality is subjective, and thus uncertain, when measured against groups of people.
The only thing certain is your own perception of reality, and and indeed, your perception of the future, as the past is often more clouded... |

You either feel certain about something or you feel uncertain. If you don't have a sense of certainty about it, you have a sense of uncertainty. The uncertainty throws you off balance, that said, why not learn to enjoy uncertainty, so that it "can't" throw you off. So why not change uncertainty into a joy? That way you can be open to all that is around you.
Uncertain Certainty can be considered for death, after all we all know it is going to happen, but we are uncertain when, so go out and enjoy your life so you know whenever it happens - you have lived.

Certain Certainty suggest absolute certainty, which is a lack of any doubt, on that can you ever be that certain on anything.
Therefore would suggest there are layers of certainty, which are with an individuals perspective. Someone that believes in God is certain there is a God, to an atheist there is certain that there is no God, who is right, can anyone say with any certainty !!!! |
