I'm a spice wuss. If I go for Indian food it's a korma all the way!
If I go to Nandos I have mango and lime seasoning.
Had a chicken shish tonight, in my experience they're normally only lightly seasoned. This one made my lips tingle and my nose run. Wasn't a happy bunny! |

Neither of us eat what we would call "Spicey Hot" food! Friends who do and go for the really hot stuff cannot taste the subtle flavours of the food we have, so have to eat hot food to taste it! OK, they may be exceptional, but it is a fact that the current love affair with the Chilli has pervaded just about every thing savoury.
We wanted a BBQ sauce, so down to Asda where we purchased one of theirs. It was hot! Looking at the label, it had chilli in it. BBQ sauce should not have chilli in it!
No, you can keep your hot food and leave us with the flavour |

My sentiments entirely.
I remember ordering a soup many years ago that had all sorts of interesting looking things in it but it was so hot, all I could taste was burn. |

"What are people's fav, and how hot/ spicy do you like it? "
I couldn't possibly comment. Mrs ddc spent a rare evening in the kitchen, and muddled the chilli powder with the cayenne pepper again...
(you'll have to imagine the steam coming out of this guy's ears)
