Read the profile or look at the pics first?
I try to read first, but sometimes it's the profile pic that intrigued me to look at the profile so I get distracted by the pics a little bit  |

I was wondering this myself about my own preferences. I look at pics 1st I think, then read their profile. I'll have made a decision based on sky remote/can/ toilet seat ratio and just need it confirmed...

Opposite for me, you could be a stunner, but if your profile is text speak I'm not interested. So I try to read first. I agree, obviously, about needing a physical attraction btw.

Try to read the profile. But due to my dyslexia, if there's too much written on the page. It becomes one large blur. Then I have to resort to pics and skim reading key words

Text before pictures. I read the profile before I open the message. A one line profile means I won't bother to read the message unless the first few words have really grabbed my attention.

Look at the pics too, just to see if they have pics. Then i check the profile. Even though i'm on a laptop and the profile is first.
Then i start making assumptions based on everything that i've seen. I kind of turned this into a game now. |

Pics first then text.
If someone mails me and there's no pics and not much text and no verifications.... I read their mail and just go from there.
I've met people with no pics, no veri's and not much text and had a great time.
It's not always just about the profile. |

 Same here! You could be a total Adonis but if you come off like a dickhead I'm not going to be attracted enough to meet. Sometimes I've not got past the username as well, if it's something really awful. |

Profile.
I always think you get more from words than you do pics.
Besides which I like interesting people, like to see if I am compatible with what they are looking for. No point in looking at the pics if I am not what they are looking for. |

I guess it must be a mixture. An avatar will sometimes grab my interest and I'll read the profile as a result. If I get a message or I'm searching - I read the profile first and then look at piccies. |

Definitely pictures first, there has to be some kind of physical attraction although I'm finding more and more guys just have knob shots so then I'm forced to read  |
