Do you ever feel a bit lost with life? I Just feel a bit lost with everything and I'm not sure why. I have a great job and great family and a few awesome friends I just feel like something is missing and I'm not sure what...I hate feeling like this it's doing my head in...  |

Think we all feel a little lost. Personally I think it's the desire to keep going, the desire to try something new and stop us all getting stuck in a rut. |

You say you like your job, but is it your passion? Mos people I meet who feel lost like this aren't fulfilling what they truly want, what their true passion in life is. A good job might be a good job, but does it really satisfy you to the core of your being to be doing it?
If you do have a passion for something, do you feel you're doing everything you can to engage with it? |

I think sometimes when we have do many rules to play, wife, mother, sister, friend, colleague etc we focus on the other people and totally forget about ourselves. You lose yourself in other peoples perception of you. Every now and then you have to just stop and remember who you are to you. |

To go all psychoanalytical for a moment, I thought that it's really interesting you answered like this?
Wouldn't you just expect someone to say "I love my job".
Not "People who know me know I love my job".
Why are the opinions of others more important than you having the conviction to know it yourself?
I was wondering if subconsciously maybe you feel it's not that satisfying to you, even though you feel it should be?

I feel lost quite frequently. Can I suggest doing something which helps you re-focus? Like maybe taking up a hobby you've always wanted to or going somewhere you've always wanted to? Or challenge yourself? I try to do this and find it helps. |
