Just stepped outside to put the recycling out, in my bare feet....
and there was the sickening crunch, sudden realisation, and then a squidgy sensation between my toes as I'd trod on a snail |

only snails in my house are either on a plate in garlic sauce or being fed to the tortoise |

OoooI did this years ago and it still gives me nightmares!
I was only wearing socks.
I have a massive phobia about dead animals and insects, never mind killing the poor thing. I felt awful.
And the sticky stuff from snails does NOT wash off skin easily!
Eurgh I can still remember it now and it must've been 2 decades ago now!! |
