Go into your general settings and find VPN and Delete it if you don't want it.
Don't know why it is on your phone if you say you haven't set up a VPN.
Basically it disguises your ip address with another from the USA for example. They are good if you want to watch or listen to foreign TV, Movies, Netflix, Radio which usually have more content than the UK services.
It's not essential on your phone though |

Just change your DNS setting to appear in a different country. Vpn is a secure network tunnel used more for corporate connectivity to be part of that network. |
