I know women who get blokes asking where they are and they have stated a small village on their profile. Do you ever get asked for the street your on? |

I never lie about where I live which could be taking a risk I guess, but the flip side is, if somebody at work (or a friend for that matter) DID find out that I'm on here, would they tell me, as they'd have to admit to being on here too! |

Naaa they wouldn't tell you or its unlikely but they could gossip who knows. I'm lucky my big cheese wouldn't bat an eye lid but in some jobs it i dare say would be frowned upon. |

I never give my address, if I am going to meet, it will be somewhere public first (there has been possibly one exception to this...though I felt 100% confident about that particular meet).
Only if things progress and the meet is going to be at my house will they get an address

Derbyshire is a big place so not quiet a lie lol
I've had plenty of "I've seen you somewhere" comments thanks to the fact I'm a regular visitor to every large store in a certain supermarket chain within a 50 mile radius of home, so I do try to be a little discrete

London is fairly big. I've been asked what part and I've been vague and said south, but no one has ever asked for the street!  |

Not because of work but because noone thats not local to me has ever heard of where in from and dudley is just the nearest town that people have heard of |

When we joined we were obviously just to naive. We live where we state on our profile and our names are real to. Met up with couples who kept calling each other by a different name to what we thought and that's been quite funny. I always remember what my mother used to say. You have to have a good memory to be a good liar. We have crap memories so try not to lie about who we are and where we live. It always would come back on us and we'd end up looking like fools. |

im in ayrshire which is true, but exact location not revealed until im certain i want to meet someone and certain i dont know them! same as dances, first meet public then if things go well and no obvious signs of mental illness etc the next at mine! trust is paramount and dont want random idiots just appearing! xx |

Well, Brecon is the nearest large town that most people would be able to find on a map, but we are careful about naming our village as it wouldnt take much detective work from there to find out who we are, and Jayne's job could be at risk if her boss found out. |
