pitch invasion before final whistle was bad but i can't see this issue with them running on at full time aslong as it is in good faith. without the fans there is no sport and all the do is separate them more and more every year, i mean not even being able to celebrate with your own fans is onr of the reasons i don't go to games anymore. |

"still awaiting my ban then last time i went in 08.03.08 not a hooligan but when we got through to wembley it is a special feeling "
Its not the cup final though, they only reached the semis, talk about OTT. Honestly can't see what the fuss was about to reach the semi final of the FA Cup, or are Villa fans so desperate now they celebrate that as if they won the cup final? (in reality all it is, is a quarter final win, lol). |

Last chance to celebrate a cup win in this season's competition at Villa Park. |

I think there is a certain way to behave and running into the pitch at any time isn't it, and to have them same fans hanging off the nets and the posts risking what could easily be seen as criminal damage if the goal posts were broken just comes across as juvenile to me, what ever happened to celebrating sensibly. If someone had been hurt those same people who say it's ok and acceptable would be singing a different tune altogether I can assure you. |

This thread is funny
it's all the fans here and all over that have allowed football to become a business rather than a game and no longer does the team hold local city lads who grow up and long to play for their local team.
You even get folk from Scotland supporting Manchester United, saying they are the No.1 team; WHY? because they are famous, ask these people to list the players and nationality of each player and they tend to quieten down.
All the kids must have the latest up to date strips, whether home or away strip and all the latest gear.
Supporters subscribe to sky sports and pay a fortune whilst earning so little all, in all just to pay the players a huge amount per week that it takes years for people to earn.
Everyone needs to wake up and realise football is no longer a game, its a money making business focused at extracting hard earned cash from the poor
waken up. |

A lot of hypocrisy over this pitch invasion ! Yes it's wrong before the end of the match ! Yet when Blyth fans invaded in the earlier rounds the BBC had Thier men on the pitch saying how wonderful it was ! |

But that's the very thing that had me totally confused, - if it was Blythe Spartens, Bradford City or some lower league team beating a top flight team to get to an FA Cup semifinal, I could totally understand it - but Aston Villa, really???
geez, imagine what could have happened if they actually lost!! |

"So don't you think that the throwing of seats and coins when villa scored down on kids and fans from Albion fans is far worse than fans running on pitch "
Comparing unacceptable behaviour as better or worse is totally pointless, It's akin to asking whether being punched in the face is worse than being kicked in the balls. It doesn't excuse the villa fans behaviour, it just proves that all teams have their fair share of arseholes supporting tgem. |

It's not comparing at all ,it's the fact that it's all biased at villa and it nothin like punching people to running on a pitch and no excuses the villa fans running on the pitch during the game , |

Yes I am and don't tell me I'm biased as I think the fans that ran on the pitch before the whistle were dickheads but the fact all the drama is based on them and not the Albion fans throwing seats and coins down on the villa fans in a section where kids sit is far more worrying also think the media dictating tv times has a large blame to factor ,playing a local derby in a fa cup at this to,e was asking for trouble All day drinking absolute madness . |

"fans fucking bellends
You havnt got over the fact when villa thrashed you and sent you down " Think we sent ourselves down over the course of a season ....1 nil was hardly a thrashing and on the other hand weve burst there net with 6 goal thrashings since......he who laughs last laughs longest |

"fans fucking bellends" A few fans invading a pitch is nothing compared to the gerkins who were throwing chairs down from the tier above imo.
West Brom fans make me laugh, number 1 fans in the league they'll have you believe. |

Strange how that doesn't seem to be a problem when rugby fans have been drinking all day? |

Don't even segregate the fans.
Blaming TV schedules is missing the point entirely and a pathetic attempt to shift the blame of unacceptable behaviour |

Ahh your right was 1-0 when we sent you down it was 4-1 07/08 then you thumped us 6-0 later on when you come back I think ,I'm not that obsessed with looking it up as I have more to life than footy tbh |

"You really are narrow minded ,I said played a part in the troubles think your just a typical shite stirrer tbh in a lot of your comment in different subjects "
Ignoring the personal dig, so you blame the TV scheduing for people getting d*unk and acting like dicks? Do they have no personal responsibility? |

I doesn't make any sense to invade the pitch in the first place, it's like, "on the pitch... now what" , "er....lets hang off the goal posts like we did when I was a kid" ..... hmm, just makes no sense.
But that's football for ya...... |

Of coarse they do and like I said it was part of the reason most times they have a12-30 kick off on a local derby there's a lot of factors lack of stewards and police they know how feisty Derby games get, drink alway plays a part in most of the troubles even on nights out around towns and cities yet you have nothing to say about away fans harming innocent fans below them and focus on fans that never hurt anyone on the pitch .and it's not a personal dig tbh it's the way you think you can put your on spin on thing twisting what I say ,all people have a responsibility but a lot of that goes out the window when they drink all day and still the media and officials and the police allow such a game to take place on a Saturday at 5-30 is madness |

Imagine if the ref called the game off & those fans who invaded the pitch had to get back in to the stands again................ they'd have been butchered by their own!!
It was the craziest thing I've seen for a while, I mean in the bad old days you invaded the pitch to try & get the game called of when losing, not winning 2-0! |
