Does anyone actually miss the video shop?
You had to get your shoes on, look at movie cases and hope the one you wanted to watch was in.
Then they was the mad dash the day after, to make sure it went back on time.
But yet, it was a "treat" |

Used to love that....much mote tactile than on line or whatever these days...
Loved when I was a kid, I'd have to get my mum to get me the 12 15 or 18's and I always felt I'd gotten one over on the shop |

prefer the online system but as im not paying for them online makes no difference
and ive watched way more films being online and bought more films as theres more range out there
yet i still miss the video shop was always first to get the new films and did rent 5 films take them back before the main rent time was at 7pm so got them for 1/2 price
i also had 6 video shops to visit as the local one couldnt keep up with me |

Gosh you've just made me think about where the video shop was when I was a kid. I live back in the same area now so will have to figure out which shop it was and what it is now. Might need some help from my dad! I was only quite young so it was usually Rainbow Brite and Care Bears videos |

Away with the fairies (Liverpool to you) |
Our Blockbuster is now a Costa
I used to spend soooooo long in the video shop reorganising the shelves because it drove me crazy to see them all in the wrong places that I would need the toilet before I got around to choosing one |

The good old days, me and the mrs would browse for a good hour holding hands round the shop and reading the back cover together, it was more of an even back then and had a bit of romance about it. Life was better without the Internet I think |
