Ok I've never really been a green fingers type of girl so much so my dad was in complete shock when mum told him they was coming up next Saturday to help me with the garden. I want to start growing stuff like vegtables etc, I have a slabed garden so will have to use pots etc but what can I plant now that will grow? |

"ive been thinking about getting some old tyres and turning them into planters after painting them funky colours. i love my garden "
Tyres are great for potatoes. Start with one tyre then as the shoots show put another tyre on. Keep going until you have for or five tyres and you'll have a lovely crop. |

Get a plot down the local allotment cheeky, then you can have a shed for a quickie shag in while getting dirty in the dirt. |

"Oh how do you turn a tyre into a planter? "
lay it flat on the ground and fill it with soil
Just pile the tyres as required
You can also paint them in funky colours |

"Oh how do you turn a tyre into a planter?
Fill it with soil and stick some plants in it.
But won't the soil fall out the hole in the bottom if you ha e to lift it up? "
Put it somewhere where you needn't move it. |

You can grow all sorts of salad leaves in hanging baskets and herbs etc.
Chilli's, garlic and onions etc.
I grew some fennel last year in wooden planters in the garden at work.
I would love a garden/ allotment of my own. |
