Chips . . . Just had home made chips, grated cheese melted over them. Topped with chopped fresh chives and a spoon of coleslaw on the side.
Oh and the obligatory round of bread that makes the great British butty

Sacrilege to put anything other than malt vinegar on chips.
Unless you are a northerner , they are allowed curry sauce
No spacky americanisms like cheese or ketchup
No spacky europhiliac trends like mayonnaise
