"It's gets pretty busy and parking can be a ballache but great place to pick up a few bargains if you look hard. "
I think bargains should be in inverted commas |

Best time to go is about 6pm/7pm midweek evenings , anyone who goes on a weekend seriously needs looking at.
Lots of look at me's, all carrying their mulberry and prada bags around, also half the population of the Far East towing round suitcases (assume to put the goods in?!)
Still, I like the Ralph Lauren and Timberland stores. Choice even for a strapping lad like me !!

It was shown on tv that a lot of the clothes are made exclusively for the outlet shops. The comparison prices are for similar items, which are typically superior quality.
I've not been to this venue so can't give feedback. |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
There appear to be discounts on higher end stuff - I can't speak with authority, but can't imagine Alexander mcqueen producing goods specifically for a couple of outlet stores...it would be even lower volume production than their main lines. Plus, have seen the same shirts in HoF Bristol turn up in Paul Smith outlet.
The place is full of Oriental tourists though, and they have no manners, no spatial awareness, no English (my Japanese is non existent, but if I went there, I'd try!).
Swindon is very different...much more "standard" brands (Hugo Boss is as high end as it gets, I think), less tourists, although fairly chavvy (although not a patch on Bluewater, which might be the chavviest place on earth). On the plus side, it's my nearest starbucks... |
