So sad

Not saying its right cos it really isnt.

i can understand in someones head that they want to murder....

but where does the conversation crop up of chopping the said murdered person up...

Totally sick, and i know this family may never live with the fact another family member done this.

but im hoping they can find all of her and she can be laid to peace like she deserves xx

Him and his girlfriend were initially charged with kidnapping. Several others interviewed about assisting an offender. It's impossible to make sense of it. And so so sad. Can't imagine what the family are going through

The justice system is just as corrupt as the couple that did it.

I say an eye for an eye!

That's as maybe but they wouldn't charge him without good evidence

What that poor family must be going through.

But yes, charged is VERY different from convicted, jumping to theories and conclusions is a dangerous thing.

Oh, dear. This is the problem with releasing names before conviction. The "no smoke without fire" attitude. You do know that we have a judicial system and that some people are actually found not guilty? I have no knowledge of the evidence against these individuals or how the criminal proceedings will conclude. I doubt that you have any greater knowledge than me.

I understand where you are coming from but to be charged the CPS would have to be sure there's a case, I'm not saying he is guilty but to be charged particularly for murder is not something they would take lightly

"I understand where you are coming from but to be charged the CPS would have to be sure there's a case, I'm not saying he is guilty but to be charged particularly for murder is not something they would take lightly "

So the CPS are always right? The CPS base their decision on whether there is a reasonable prospect of succeeding in a prosecution and are not the arbiter of whether the accused is guilty of the crime.

Leave it to the judicial system. It may be flawed but it is the best that we can do.

Please do not take an accusation as proof of guilt. Not guilty verdicts are routinely delivered.

At no point have I said he is guilty! In order to get a conviction they need evidence , I have faith in our legal system.

Having seen our legal system, I do not have more than an 80% faith in it. Nevertheless, I do think it is better than trial by posting. I am glad that you require evidence. They may well be guilty but let us wait until the conclusion of the legal proceedings before making a judgement.

Nothing to do with cps! It's the police that have charged them the cps can only advise the police on cases for possible prosecution and once charged by the police and the decision is to prosecute, determine the charge. RIP

Sorry unless I'm making a mistake you seem to think I'm making a judgement or have decided he is already guilty ? I have made no judgements or decisions on his guilt I have stated fact in this thread nothing more.

I am afraid that you are wrong. The police do not prosecute cases. The police present their evidence to the CPS who then decide whether there is sufficient evidence to warrant proceeding with criminal proceedings. If you doubt this, you can look at their website.

Really, the only point I was making was that a police charge does not make a conviction.

I think you're misinterpreting what I mean.

Sometimes on stories like this, it was following an altercation or something? I was just trying to understand why the poor girl was murdered

I think they have found all body parts and they have been removed from the property. It must be heart breaking as you say that another family member could do this. Such a waste of another young life. x

"I haven't really been following the story much

It's a logical question to me. The question everyone asks about anything is WHY ?

I'd be interested to know why they did it and if it was cold blooded or accidental or misadventure.

As yet there is no reason given.

It's horrendous, so so sad, he's in court tomorrow morning isn't he and the girlfriend so we'll all know a little bit more then. To kill someone is bad enough but to dismember a body, the force needed to dismember a body would require a very determined callous evil mind.

All involved in her murder their souls are now damned to hades.

its a question that no answer could possibly be a reason for such an act -

The police make a decision as to whether or not to charge. Their file goes to the CPS who decide whether to prosecute or not. They base their decision on the police evidence and the probability of a successful conviction. . It's all down to percentages.

Anyway, let's not judge before a jury has decided, should it go that far.

If found innocent the accused will be hounded for life. A virtual life sentence In itself. . .If guilty then they get all that's available to the judge.

no one should be named publicly until they are found guilty In my opinion.

Contempt of court laws should be used to cover this.

Sorry but you're wrong, that was true about ten years ago but the CPS make all charging decisions nowadays apart from low level offences such as d+d, public order offences and low level assaults which can be made by custody sergeants. It may have variations force to force but for the most part the CPS reviews each case and they either authorise a charge or not or they can authorise bail with an action plan to obtain any outstanding evidence.
