This has made me chuckle....

People are changing the image of Sir Wilfrid Laurier, their Prime Minister from 1896 to 1911, to look like Spock.

Whilst it is not illegal, the Bank of Canada has asked people to stop doing it.

Quite right too!

They're banknotes, but not as we know it.

I feel that the Bank of Canada should cease trying to stop the fun...after all, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

There's a ten minute little clip on utube that some yank put on when he emigrated to the UK.

It's funny and very thoughtful.

He goes on about all the little differences...

He goes on about telling his mom! His new address which was something like 7 Ryedale road and how she couldn't get her head round it as there'd never lived at a house less than 14,000 west seven street. Or that no road was straight and went in all directions.

The one that got me was him trying to get his head round the difference between 25 hundred pounds and 2,500 pounds and he said he couldn't picture how much 2,500 was? ,, which quite tittled me .

There's also a great clip of an American coupe vacating in the UK.... Which they filmed with a dash cam the husband gives the basic run down of UK car differences, this car is an oil burner, it's called diesel here, notice the stick shift gearbox!! He then gives a demonstration on getting out of tiny UK car parks, navigating crazy roundabouts but.. It's so funny when they get on a country lane.. They are literally terrified
