Failed my theory test today my score was 40 and the pass mark is 43

I passed mine first go with full marks but that was 14 years ago.
I just loaded the program on my PC of the practice questions and kept doing them over and over! |

The Theory test hadn't been introduced when I took my driving test.
Oddly enough though, while it took me three attempts to pass the standard 'L' test at 18, I passed my advanced driving first time just 7 years later. |

I would add though that before the multiple choice theory test was introduced, examiners asked highway code questions at the end of the test.
In my opinion, this may have been a better wsy to test highway code knowledge as you actually had to know the answer as opposed to being given a 25% chance of guessing the right option. |

Took mine a month ago. I got the 2015 theory test book, did a Cpl chapters a night, with a pencil. Top tests online, and the new 2015 hazard disc.
Passed first time, only learned my questions from the book.
On the test I flagged every question I didn't absolutely know the answer to, and read them all again. |

Passed first time, 100% both parts too. Best thing to do id just revise. Not everyone passes first time. Stick with it, u will get there. Actual test is harder, but only coz its easy if that makes sense... |
