Thinking caps on
This question is a great way of learning about yourself as well as others - it's not as easy as you may think. It should open your mind to what's truly important to you - something that you may not have even known yourself.
Look forward to reading the answers Minx xx |

I have no possessions I want to keep unless you count photographs. I couldn't pick 5 though so they would have to be lumped together as one thing. Other than that, nothing. |

When I divorced I lost all my photos to my ex hubby, I have my memories I would just like to keep those and my health, everything else is meaningless

All I got from my divorce were my photographs because my daughter rescued them for me. He wasn't interested in them anyway. He got everything else and lost the respect of our children. Sad when you think about it |

My lion cuddly toy. I've had him for 20 years and is my most prized possession.
A rock with a face drawn on that my best friend gave to me when we were ten.
My rings I got for my 21st birthday. The only jewellery I have that's worth any money. Given to me by me mam and dad.
A book about a shark that someone I once new got me. I love shark And is the only decent present someone outside of my immediate family has got me.
My phone and charger. Because how would I get on fab?! |

I have a small box that contains the ankle bracelets and cot tags for my children: three pink one blue. It also contains a lock of my son's hair and his death certificate.
I was burgled whilst on holiday and when my daughter called, after checking she was ok asked her to check on my box.
Pictures.
Nothing else.

Well my holy book tells me to feed my soul while starving my body. So where you learnt things could be more fun or at least it will open my mind to new ideas |

My acoustic guitar dated 1963
My pen knife my grandfather gave me for my 6th birthday which I still carry to this day almost 32yrs later
The cuddly monkey my 6yr old daughter got me last fathers day because "I know how sad you are when I go home to mummy's so you can hug this to make you feel better",near crying now just thinking about it.
My box of souvenirs of items from friends who are no longer here (gone but not forgotten)
The ww2 incendiary device that came through my grandmothers ceiling landing in her crib beside her but failed to ignite, reminds the whole family how every breath people take is pure luck that you're even here..

my photos, some great memories are captured on camera (my son growing up)
An ivory pot that was my nans.
A toy cuddly hedgehog that sat on my mums hospital bed for 6months, and moved around when she had visitors so we knew someone else had visited.
A picture my son painted of 100 poppies when they were asked to draw about the war.
A necklace with my sons thumb print, hand print and foot print on a charm.
These are my most treasured items and I would be happy to replace everything else. |

this is difficult -
i suppose if i had to grab things that i need for the here and now - it would be phone - purse - something to keep me dry - something to keep me warm and some food
if it was for sentimental reasons - would be photos - teddy edward (given to my mum before i was born) - and i guess memories - we all have them but losing the ability to remember them is becoming more difficult the longer we all live - |
