Was poorly for a few weeks and now I'm better I just can't seem to get back into the swing of things, lost my self confidence a bit and can't even bring myself to meet people I've met a few times in the past ........ and no I'm not looking for sympathy lol |

Don't worry hun, happens to us all especially after being unwell - youre beautiful and you'll get your mojo back once your fully recovered and this crappy uk weather improves. Bit of sunshine & vitamin D will work wonders & perk you up in no time. Just ease back into things in your own time. Minx xx |

I was only trying to find out the purpose of the thread. There is no question and the op said not looking for sympathy, so what then? She may not have been on here actively looking for a meet - she may have just wanted to come on the forum for a chat and to get some feedback as to whether anybody else had lost their mojo after being ill - I know it's happened to me, lots of times. Some people just like to chat and be reassured that their not the only ones going through a certain situation. The way you worded your post was quite harsh and narrow minded.
I think you could have handled it a lot more sensitively.
There is a lot more to people than what may meet the eye - It doesn't hurt to be kind or nice. If that makes me a "Kiss ass" or a "suck up" then so be it. I'd much rather be labelled those things than cruel, unkind and completely oblivious to other people's feelings.
It's a difference of opinions I suppose. |

I didn't say you had - I remarked that I wouldn't want to be labelled those things.
Some people don't like the tough love approach - some people are more sensitive than others.
A little empathy would go a long way.
