another tesco related story for you tonight.....

as per my other thread about shower gel, i was sniffing all the bottles before deciding on a purchase. Once i had made a decision i t the bottle i was testing back and took another from the back.

My nan always used to tell me never take from the front/top of things and always went at least 3 items back for anything she bought because people paw the front ones.

Does anyone else do this?

Yeah, call me Mr Picky but I never did fancy the used condoms at the front much.

It seems that the front ones get used up being squidged.

I always take from further back for food to get the longest date but most other things I take from the front unless they look squidged.

Always from the back of the shelf and the bottom of the freezer.

(The front ones often look like they have bogeys wiped on them

I always take from the back as you don't know what's been been left on the till for 15 min then put back! Esp in chilled or frozen food.

Yes the very fresh stuff is always put behind other stuff or to the back of shelf or bottom of a freezer.

Yes, front only, never the rear and stay away from the bottom..
