I find our degus are hyper and don't really need any attention, or like being handled that much coz they'd rather explore and run around.

Don't know much about hamsters, my friend, her hamsters love being handled, although they can be bitey.

My fur baby lives with my ex huntaway crossed with a springer. Total bonkers. I've had to stop visiting tho as he gets depressed when I leave. Bless him. I check up on him now and then tho.

A lovely rescue Torty female cat called Bracken. She has a ginger nose, a ginger stripe down her chest and one ginger back paw! Unless it`s crap weather out, I can rely on her waiting on the front path for me to come home from w*rk and she`s my bedmate every night! Sleeps on the bed, never under the covers not that I would have that anyway. Have to smuggle my travel case outside so she doesn`t clock that I`m going away!

marines are wonderful,but very hard work.

I had one previously and miss it still years on,but do not have the time to dedicate to it.

You need a fair sized tank.

They are also very expensive.

I really wanted pups but there are too many people breeding them and they sometimes end up in the wrong hands with people who use them as a status symbol. I would have a houseful of Staffs. Just love them to bits

I love greyhounds they are the most placid _aid back dogs going, a lot of people think they are high maintenance but they really arnt mine are proper couch potatoes

useful to know..im in the hamster camp..always had them over the years...and if you handle them a lot when theyre little theyre usually ok...though we did have a very evil one once, and i was blamed becasue id maned him ted bundy...

Mines decided she'll only eat haylege.... Im going to have to take out a mortgage to feed the bloody thing! But all our mares at work are particularly vile at the moment... One tried to take my head off while I was changing her rugs tonight

At work yesterday so many people were saying about how awful and crazy their mares are at the moment....got to love "season" lol.

mine had me in stitches today galloping around the field like some possessed little beasty although have to say I'm quite glad I wasn't riding Her

A westie called Lily

A bichon frise called Teddy.

They're both ten and unamused by the arrival of 16 month old Ozzy the chihuahua a year ago.

They're all my babies, especially Ozzy who sleeps under the duvet with me. He's a proper bed warmer and doesn't seem to mind my Gorgonzola feet or any wind that might, accidentally, be passed under the duvet. He's a proper dog.

An Aquarium plus two gorgeous Alaskan Shepherds. New breed of Husky x German shepherds.they are amazing. But to the person who has tortoises please tell me if they are great pets as I love them!

I have a English bull terrier puppy ( well he's huge but still thinks hes a tiny pup) he's deaf to normal sounds but can hear a ultra sonic whistle. most of my old dogs either had problems or where rescue dogs

My Labrador only has hearing in his right ear, they had to remove the left one, but he don't miss a thing, he knows the sound of my daughter car and is up at the window looking for her when she's still driving up the street, I have no idea how acute his hearing would be with two working ears
