"Does anyone have this? Any good for gaming?
For those who don't know, it's the poor person's Oculus Rift
What if you don't know what oculus rift is?"
An Oculus Rift is the rich person's Google Carboard
They are both Virtual Reality thingys. There are a few expensive headsets about, Samsung Gear vr costs £185, Cardboard costs less than £20 |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
"Whoopeee, I can show off with £20
I'd rather spend it on two cocktails.
it's 2 pitches of cocktails for £10 at my local Weatherspoons"
Are they any good?
I like having them made personally for me then presented all fresh and delicious.

I did start a thread about this a while ago but no one had a clue what I was going on about lol maybe I'm just to advanced anyway yes I couldn't be dealing with that cardboard as over time it would have sagged, and gone our of shape and I wasn't ready to shell out £180-£220 on the oculus rift. So I ordered a plastic version from Ebay via China, I did have a iphone 5 at the time up I thought I'd "upgrade" to a Samsung S5 (larger screen) little did I know I was downgrading. Anyway I downloaded some vr software and I tried it but the focus was not right as I could see the surrounding plastic inside the viewer so I ordered some stronger lenses from eBay to eradicate that issue and it works a lot better, this is something for the future as it's still early days, the software availible at the moment is very basic, have you tried Carl Zeiss Virtual cinema? Hopefully more will come out soon |

I was going to order one of these Google Cardboards but after reading various reviews it was apparent that there were some issues with using them along side with Htc M8 so decided against it.
VR is very much in it's infancy but I think it is here to stay. And as soon as the porn movie makers get going in the genre it will boost sales immeasurably |

I think these were originally designed for the Samsung note 4, I find the iPhone 5,5s to be to small as it just rattles around. I have bought a bluetooth controller to play games obviously (you can't touch the screen) but still a lot of room for improvement. |
