I passed my motorbike test a few weeks ago and bought my first bike last week.....im loving it!

Im the complete opposite to the stereo type though - im a sweet young looking sub boy lol.xx

Nice one mate. But be warned, there are many differences between Bikers and Motorcyclists.

Ask a Motorcyclist what he/she does to prepare for winter and they will tell you about oiling all the shiny bits, putting the bike on a stand, plugging the exhaust etc.

Ask a Biker and he/she will say put fuel in and ride the bugger!

(I'm a Biker by the way)

I like a hot bod in leathers but motorbikes alone do nothing for me. I like watching the scramblers on television,it's action with hot men

Congrats!!

Passed mine about 6 months ago and am now the proud owner of a very nice Sazuki Marauder!! There's nothing better than cruising for miles on a nice sunny day with my sexy lady behind me!

We're hoping to get a few sexy pics of her on it soon!!

Enjoy and be safe

Congratulation on joining the invisible hoard..ride safe and if you assume everyone is out to kill you, you won't go far wrong..that's my excuse for overtaking..keep em all behind me rather than pulling out in front of me..

Well done mate!

Unfortunately your stealth mode will apply both on here and on the open road

Biker, not motorcyclist here!

Congratulations, im a biker who rides all year in all weather, as said before assume everyone is out to kill you and have fun, learn your limits and what your bike is capable of first, dont try to drop a knee o\ the firstfast corner you get to, rarley ends well, build upto it. Also track days can be a great learning curve

Well done, I did mine in the summer as a 40th treat, either that or a midlife crisis!

Just take it easy until you are comfortable on the bends etc, always anticipate cars pulling out of side roads into your path because they will. Whoever said above that everyone is out to kill you is dead right.

What bike did you get? I bought a thundercat for my first bike, I'll stick a photo up in a mo, be safe dude

Congratulations on passing your test - enjoy and keep learning. What some of the guys have said above is spot-on: keep your wits about you. I've been riding since I was 5 and got taken out by a car for the first time on Sunday.

On a positive note, Sazz is doing her licence this month and is itching to ride the zx9r I'm doing up for her

Congratulations. As someone who has been riding since he was 16 all I can advise is go buy some decent all weather gear (Aldi do good pants and jackets cheap) and get out in all weathers. Don't but anything too powerful, learn how to adjust your chain, check your tyres & oil, keep it serviced and keep your bike pretty dirt free

And don't ride outside of your limits; if your out with more experienced riders there no shame in not keeping up and falling behind. It takes 10-15 minutes to finally catch them up at your destination a broken leg can take months to heal

Happy riding

Get yourself over to the Bikers Loft - can't post a link in here but Google is your friend.

Awesome weekends there - live music, mad clientele and a Jaeger Bomb Machine...

Getting out on my bike is the best feeling ever , always have a smile in my face when I ride it , it's just the rest if the time I'm miserable ,

You will find people with bikes can be the most sociable people around can talk hours to a complete stranger about bikes , normally im pretty shy

Did mine years ago and love going on group rides but can be jyst as fun on your own. As someone already said youd always get fellow biker chatting. Keep it shiny side up
