My mums best friend went for a scan for something when she was 55 and discovered she only had one kidney! She had no idea up until then, I suppose ultrasounds during pregnancy weren't the thing when she was a baby??

my dog only had the one for a bit when he was a pup, the other one just took a bit longer to drop.

My cat had this.. double the price to have him done as they had to scan him and open him up to pull the other testicle down to remove...

Yes but it was going in one ear and the other as I was distracted by the massive spot on his face.

I know he said I have to keep feeling for it myself.

Had my dog neutered and vet said only one had dropped so more expensive to get the 2nd. However, he stated it was good news as there is a link to issues as sometimes they don't drop and could have been bigger problems later. Maybe it was his way of fleecing me but I'd check if any potential issues
