never shone for England Rooney is a play maker, United always like to play with a playmaker rather than a prolific goal scoring striker, Cantona, Sherringham, Rooney - they put the others in a position where they can score and you can't defend against 11 goalscorers (Schmeical 8 goals to his credit during his career). Pallister great defender and some important goals to his credit when Cantona put him in a "must score" position, Gary Neville once admitted he didn't know how to celebrate his goal after being put in such a position because it was the first time he ever scored.

Woony would score every match if the boss gave him £1200 just before he went on the field. |

"Do you think Gerrard, Lampard and Roony can play in the same team again?
"
All three of them are women are they not? Handbags at dawn and fall over at the slightest knock. |

"arent they footballists, not worth thinking about to hard then."
When the financial returns turned them into premadonners then the bite went out of football and left us with wimpy ball kickers. Well that is the way it looks to me. |

"the question surely has to be which one is going to take it up the a**e?
Roony taking it, Lampard giving it, and Gerrard watching wanking himself off."
Its more likely Lampard taking it as Roony will shag anything |
