"203.7 miles.
I can't believe most of you live so close still. I have a serious and chronic case of itchy feet. I hate settling anywhere."
I find it surprising too. many of my old friends still live, not just in Birmingham but the same suburb they grew up in. Where we live now we have local friends who wouldn't date people from the next town (3 miles away) and view London (20 minutes on the train) as a different world. I find it incredibly small minded |

"Africa to Manchester quite a few miles I suspect "
Although..
I lived all over. So I have no idea, I call Liverpool home I was there from my teens, so it's 42.4 miles from where I am now. |

"226.6 miles. I grew up in Scunthorpe, now live in Southend.
Getting itchy feet though, considering London for a year if I can get a job transfer."
Used to love in Southend years ago, was my stomping ground as a single guy! Especially Chinnerys and of course, Forresters
Are they still there?? |

199.5 from 'home' town but have moved all over the UK and ROI
I know this is home really but when going to visit my friends and family I always refer to that as home |

"Less than a mile but with quite a roundabout route to arrive back here "
Likewise... Though in London, obviously
I now live less than 10 minutes walk from where I did for the first 13 years of my life. |

I'm about 140 miles Bristol to Manchester.
The wife's about 20 miles less being from Cheshire.
We would love to move home but Mrs is a university lecturer and her expertise is at Bristol.

I've lived in/had belongings in around 20 houses.. Manchester, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire.. So not really sure where I'd class as where I grew up... Spent most of my life within about a 15 mile radius of where I am now though |

for both of us-about 80 mile,s been let 40 year,s we go back for relation,s funerals but no one left now used to see our old friend,s in the same old place,s not many moved very far. Some still live in the same house they were born into.Years ago when we first moved away went back for special occasions every thing was fine with old friend,s but as we all got older our friend ships faded we did very well in the pub trade. It was a council estate me and my husband came from not trying to be above my self but our life style is miles apart which one or two of them seem to resent and were rude. We worked hard some of them have never hardly worked |
