No medical/aesthetic benefit in removing it (ok there are potential issues in later life that warrant surgical intervention but certainly not at birth!) and I'm sure society would be in uproar if a similar practice was performed on newborn girls.

There has been a growing movement against circumcision of children, who obviously cannot give informed consent. I find that refreshing, as there are adult males who wish that they weren't cut.
They're all only as clean as the individual who is responsible for washing them. |

I don't like the idea of cut cock purely because my stomach churns at the thought of this being done to newborn baby boys for no medical reason.
Makes me gut-wrenchingly sad. 
So I'd never prefer cut over uncut. I wouldn't want to perpetuate something as an "ideal" when I consider it to be fairly barbaric.
But in terms of aesthetics or hygiene I have no preference either way. And as the guy themselves didn't chose to have it done as a baby I don't hold it against them.

couldnt care less really..find it quite strange that men seem very concerned by it....and think that maybe now is a good time to stop doing pointless circumcision...we dont even allow dogs tails to be loped nowadays..seems oddly medieval to cut babies! |

I think it's a shame in this day and age, genital mutilation is so acceptable in the name of religion or a social norm like in the US. I obviously understand if it's for medical reasons. |

I have heard it said that the foreskin has around 20000 nerve endings. Seems like the circumcised among us are missing out on heightened pleasure.
