I politely tell a guy I don't want to meet. He asks why. I say that everyone has a choice. He says thanks and surprise surprise leaves the site!

Then guys wonder why we don't always answer messages or meet up!

I don't go checking on a guy's profile after I have told him that I am not interested. I just delete the message

How did you know he had left?

Maybe you were "no thanks" no# 247 after 349 unread deleted messages, and he had said, "I'll give this 1 more go" as he hit the send button

A user who leaves after a rejection may be a duplicate profile from someone you've turned down before - I've had it a couple of times.
