Start to panic, expect the terminator soon.....
The Deep Q Network (DQN), owned by Google, was given just the basic data from one Atari game and an algorithm which learned by trying out different scenarios to come up with the best score.
Without any further programming the network worked out how to play a further 48 classic video games including Space Invaders and Breakout.

Or, in the event of an attack by Aliens, Google now have an AI capable of defeating them.

Deep Q can also now:
a) Win at Hangman
b) Defeat the Empire
c) Swing across crocodile infested pits
d) Work out how to read the map room in the well of souls
e) Gobble Pills and chase ghosts
f) Rescue Princesses
g) Avoid Barrel-Throwing Monekys.
Bet Deep Q still couldn't figure out what the hell was going on in E.T though... |

Now go on YouTube and look at the robots created by Boston Dynamics
They are now owned by Google and produce robots for the US military... The one they are touting at the moment follows it's soldier buddy and carries kit.... Not such a leap of the imagination for it to be autonomous and carry a big fuckoff gun
