So what do people think of this so far, living up to the hype or not?

Having caught up with the first few episodes over the weekend I have to say I'm pretty impressed so far.

Looks like it's gonna be highly entertaining

First episode was rubbish, it was really bad.

Thankfully they moved away from Vince Gilligan directing (he did the first episode) and things actually happened in the second and third episodes.

Overhyped? Yes it is, it was going to be a guaranteed success as all the Breaking Bad superfans would want to see it.

No real plot to anything. It just seems to drift aimlessly from one episode to the next. I will give it 2 more episodes.

I also find it odd and not in a good way how mike and tuco from breaking bad are in but playing different characters. It just acts to further compound my thoughts that it does not hold a candle to breaking bad.

They're not playing different characters, sweetheart. It's a prequel, so likely a couple of years before what they were like on Breaking Bad. They're still the same old Mike and the same old Taco. They just haven't evolved yet.

This week's episode is likely to shed much more light onto how Saul came to be the lawyer he was for Walt. I liked the previous episode when it became apparent that his name loosely contained the phrase 'it's all good man'!

It was probably mentioned way back but I'd never heard it!

No way as good as Breaking Bad.

It has been so hyped off the back of Breaking Bad that it is inevitable that there will be a little disappointment.

However, its early days and I am enjoying what I have seen so far. Im sure when the story line develops and the characters develop I will be singing its praises. Here's hoping anyway!

Im yet to have the jaw dropping, omg I didnt see that coming or the wow thats shocking moments....

Definitely worth a watch

Were there any jaw dropping episodes in the first few eps of Breaking Bad? I struggle to remember that far back!

I hope the story does start taking off more next week. Enjoyed watching so far

I just think saul/jim is a great character, has me in stitches many of times! He plays a real good con man. I do think its started slow but its starting to pick up in each episode. Nowhere near as good as breaking bad yet but who knows what we're in for!?!?

Apparently as it has a few Breaking Bad characters in already, Aaron Paul (Jesse) wanted in and is being introduced in the next few episodes.. Not 100% sure about it being true tho.

I am enjoying the subtle humour... He was my favourite character in Breaking Bad, so interested to see where the story line goes!
